Biographical Sketch (200 words or less) | Patricia Edwards born in Pleasantville, NJ. Graduated from ACCC 1989 with a degree studying Early
Childhood Education. 21 year employee of The City Of Pleasantville. Proud mother of
two children Brittney and Marcus and proud grandmother of her little Gemini Twin Jaxon. She values the
closeness of family and close friends.
She has been saved since 1990 & surrounded by influential
women who introduced her to church and the importance of being involved in the community.
She was blessed to become an active member of New Shiloh Baptist
Church 2010-2011 after many years of helping plan events in her community such as annual Pleasantville
PEP committee festival, leading her son’s Cub Scout troop of Atlantic City, through
Our Lady star of the Sea. Fundraising, planning and walking in the annual Breast Cancer
awareness walk in Ocean City, NJ as a member of the Pleasantville Praise walkers committee.
She is growing her passion for providing for others through LLC Sisters
Labor of Love which focuses on homeless and needy community members. She is crafty and
enjoys bringing her ideas to life. She shares those talents with her church family as Chairperson of the Women's Conference, Youth Advisor and Trustee for the Board.
She is honored to be recognized by the sisterhood of AKA Sorority for The Many faces of African American Women.
